This is a baby blanket I made for a family member. It came out kind of small, but will be a perfect carseat or stroller blanket.  It's made with Red Heart, red fleck.  I used a simple shell pattern and then a couple of rounds of sc for a border

Brown afghan

This is an afghan I made as a wedding gift. Don't remember how many I chained, maybe 120. Then one row sc, one row dc etc. Then for the border a round of sc and then to finish it off a round of shells.

Introducing Fraizer!!

Opening 2010

Happy New Year everyone!!! Have had a wonderful first day of the year. My baby brother, Tim, his wife Terri and their daughter Kelsey came to Bakersfield for the day. Along with Mom and Dad, Jerry we all got together for a late breakfast at Pappy's! Add the grandbabies and we had quite a group. Was wonderful!!
Made a trip to the Bead & Yarn store yesterday. I bought a skein of yarn to make a cowl. It is hand dyed yarn in black and grays. Anxious to get it started. Need to get some paying sewing jobs done first. Maybe tonight before bed I can co (cast on).

Closing 2009

Wow, just can't believe how 2009 has flown by. Has been a good year. Our sweet Anna turned 3, Ezmy will be 2 on the 31. Scooby is 6 and is in the 1st grade. Such wonderful grandbabies.

We lost Kirby this summer! Was very sad. We have a new kitten we've named Frazier. He is somewhat cross-eyed and has fat, furry feet. He likes to chew on my yarn and pounce on Frankie in the middle of the night. lol.

I have lots of wanna do's for the new year. Afraid if I list them, I will curse them, lol, so will just post when I have success.
