Friday

Just finished watching the movie 'Georgia Rule.' It was pretty good. I liked the ending. I'm not a big fan of Jane Fonda, but it was still pretty good.
As far as projects, I've started a quilt. It's an american flag with pinwheels around the edges. Hoping to hang it over the staircase by the front door. I'll send pics. Also working on a crocheted baby blanket for my new grandbaby due in Jan. Need to make myself some new tops too.

More afghans!

Here is a set of 3 ghans that I put together with donated squares. They went to a group of friends that were going thru an especially difficult time. I used Red Heart dark plum.

Yellow afghan!

This is an afghan I made for my Grandma Verna several years ago. When she passed away, my dad gave the ghan back to me. This is a double crochet diaganol pattern done is shades of yellow. Grandma's favorite colors.

Guess I'm partial to diaganol patterns! lol.

Pretty in Pink!!

A friend of mine recently became a grandmother to a beautiful baby girl. I made this afghan using 3 different shades of pink, of Red Heart Yarn. The pattern is a single crochet diaganol pattern. To get the stripes I rolled a die, whatever number came up, that's how many rows I did of the next color. It was a hit!!
